On Monday, November 23rd, 2015, Vox.com became one of 17 media companies in the world to publish daily on Snapchat Discover. Our launch edition featured the power of money in American politics and a unique storytelling format that would eventually become Vox’s signature Snapchat “feature edition.” Since then, we’ve produced more than 150 daily editions (and counting!), covering topics from Islamophobia, Flint’s water crisis, ISIS to the US milk lobby.
As the senior editor, I managed a remote team of graphic designers and video editors to script, design and animate each edition. I also worked with our sales, engagement and editorial teams to coordinate our story production and promote our Snapchat Discover editions.
